Bad news in the 90's. Apple started the 80's with over 12% marketshare, ended the 20th century with less than 10%, and has been slipping since. Still, the best user experience remains in the past- Mac OS 9.x, with tabbed folders and everything.

They simply changed to MS/Intel which stayed the same pretty much throughout. And MS/Intel had bigger market share. After the year 2k, the PDA wars were very bad for Apple, becasue everyone was making chips for their PDA's and cell phones. Apple CPU's got pushed back in priority. Since Apple didn't make CPU's, they lost even more marketshare.

The 2010 Mac ran Unix based Mac OS 10. Came with keyboard, mouse and built in wide monitor with built in services like bluetooth, WiFi, networking, etc. The 2010 PC was still just a box.
