At first most likely just Mahoney et al. or even EKF based 9DOF gyro+accel+compass for 3D attitude. Then simple PI/PID damping. Later barometer and ultra sound for flight height controll and basic 10 Hz cheap GPS navigation. Maybe after that optical flow based accurate positioning to make drone as steady as possible.
